Our church campus opened, with God's blessings, on
Palm Sunday in 2001. Since that time, our congregation has almost triple in size
to about 1200 members. The good news is that we have room for lots more!
We invite you to join us as we worship the Lord,
celebrate His Holy Communion, study the Bible, join together in fellowship
activities, and minister to the spiritual needs of our members and community.
If you are looking for a church, have spiritual needs, or have questions about
Risen Savior, our pastoral staff will make themselves available at your
convenience. Just call the office at 480-895-6782 for an appointment.
Here at Risen Savior we offer something for
everyone. Whether you prefer to worship the Lord in a Traditional
Worship setting with organ music, a choir and the Pastors and Elders attired in
robes, or if you prefer to worship in a contemporary worship environment with
casual attire and a praise band.... we offer you the opportunity to choose your
preferred worship.
Families enjoy utilizing out many
programs and services that include the Risen
Savior School
that serves children from ages two through seven, as well as our Nursery,
Cry
Room, Kids Talk, Sunday School, Youth Group, Spring Festival, Vacation Bible
School, Confirmation Classes, Family Gatherings and Family Counseling Services.
A large number of our adult members meet in the
Fellowship Hall between the first and second services on Sunday for coffee,
rolls and the Adult Forum.
Caring for others is a way of life at Risen Savior. We serve the
senior community with The Perfect Place Adult Day Care Center that
provides loving care for older adults. We also deliver meals on wheels, conduct
blood drives, collect food and clothing for the needy, and make home and
hospital visits to those who are ill or infirmed. Our high school students serve
others on their annual mission trip.
And we have fun! We worship
together and work together on committees and boards. We also attend social
events … from the Fall Picnic or the Golf Tournament, to Theme Parties and
Potlucks, or attending a Diamondback’s game, there are activities for all ages.
