Rev. David Brinkman -
Pastor
Brinkman attended Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated
Summa Cum Laude in the Pre-Seminary program in 1997 with a Major in
Natural Sciences and a Minor in Music.

David met
Liane [Bade] at Concordia College, St. Paul in the Christus Chorus.
They were married July 26, 1997. Liane taught both third and fourth
grades in LCMS schools while David attended Concordia Seminary in
St. Louis. David graduated from Concordia Seminary in May of 2001,
having earned his Master of Divinity Degree. He worked for the
following year at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in St. Louis as
their Minister of Worship.

Rev. Brinkman was installed at Risen
Savior on June 30, 2002. In addition to his other many
responsibilities as pastor at Risen Savior, Pastor Brinkman has
served as Pastor of Family Ministries, Youth Pastor and Spiritual
Advisor to the Risen Savior School. During his first year at Risen
Savior, he formed the Risen Savior Praise Team and founded the 9:30
Contemporary Worship Service. The Brinkman's have two young
children, a son, Joseph and a daughter, Ella.

Rev. Jim Pflueger
is RSLCS' newest pastor. He joined the team part-time at the
beginning of this year.
Pastor Jim retired at the end of last year
and he and his wife Sue moved to Queen
Creek. They worshipped in a number of
churches in the area but when they came
here, they felt like this is the place God
wanted for them. Shortly thereafter
we had a need for additional pastoral help
and here his is.

Pr. Jim and
Sue have four children and six
grandchildren living in Eagle River, AK, Atlanta, GA and Milwaukee,
WI. Pr. Jim has served congregations in
South Dakota, Michigan, Wisconsin, and most recently, before
retirement, Concordia Lutheran Church in Cerritos, CA.
He also serves
as the Pacific Southwest District Missions Chair.

Sr. Carol Bowers Cobble
- graduated from Rock Valley College
in Rockford, IL with a BA degree in Sociology. She is
also a
-
graduate of the Lutheran Deaconess
Association LDA/LDC Conference at Valparaiso University. She is a
certified Hospital Chaplin and certified in Geriontological Pastoral
Care. She also holds a BA in Theology from Christ College, Irvine,
CA.

Sr. Carol served for five years as an
Oncology Chaplin at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham &
Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Prior to coming to Risen Savior, she spent five years as the
Deaconess of Pastoral Care at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange,
CA where she was consecrated in 1987.

Sr. Carol joined Risen Savior in April of 2001. She serves as the
Spiritual Advisor and mentor to the Pastoral Care Ministries, an
organization of over 200 volunteers that provides spiritual care to
members of the congregation that are experiencing crisis in their
lives or are ill or infirmed. She personally visits members that are
infirmed at home, in hospitals or hospices. Sr. Carol and her
husband Phillip Cobble
were married in 1995.

Joy Wilson
is RSLCS' DCE intern.
She was born and raised in Spring, Texas, and
attended Trinity Lutheran. Her father is the
principal of the school, and her mother is a
school nurse. her faith has been nurtured and
supported throughout her life by
her family, friends, and other members of the
Body of Christ.

Linda Pauley is the Director of
the Risen Savior School. As the founding Director of the school,
Linda has directed its growth from eighty students in 2002 to over
three hundred in 2006. She also guided the school through its
accreditation by NAEYC and NLSA while expanding the school from a
preschool to include Kindergarten, First and Second Grades.

Linda holds a BS Degree in Business Management from Arizona State
University and a MA Degree in Early Childhood Education from
Concordia, Minneapolis, MN. Prior to joining Risen Savior School,
Linda had careers in Business and Marketing Management. She and her
husband, Bill have two children, Austin and Brad.
